About

I love a lot of things. Which is why this blog is about a lot of things. 🙂 People have asked me what I’d categorize my blog as, and I’ll just tell them, “ME.” From books to food, from travel to life, I like to talk about everything and anything that interests me. So join me as I travel and wander around, because as they say, “All that wander are not lost.” 🙂

I come from the North, but am currently stuck in Small Town, USA, deep down in the South. Just kidding, it’s not that bad. I’ve now moved on to Austin, Texas, to continue my education at the University of Texas (Chem major, class of 2020). Still an Aggie at heart, but for the next four years, Hook’em horns! But besides all that, this blog was started for my English AP class a few years back, and thus will contain some (hopefully) insightful literary knowledge and insight. Add to that travel pictures, food, kittens and optimism, because I wouldn’t survive a day without them. I bake a whole lot of desserts that never find an audience (they’re actually pretty good, it’s just that I live in a uber-healthy family). So far, I’ve not yet achieved Beyonce-status, but am still a (relatively) ***flawless person. Lastly, I carry around a long list of Starbucks lover. They’ll tell you I’m insane because I listen to too many Taylor Swift. I’m also low-key obsessed with K-Pop (did I say low-key? Haha, I meant low-key in K-Pop standards. Read: high-key.)

So anyways, let’s be friends, because I’m dying to see how this one ends. Grab your passport and my hand, because we’re going to make this one heck of a blog. 🙂

5’1″ with a 7’0 tall brain. Chemistry major. Great stuff! It is special that you have an open adventurous heart ready to sail the high seas. That is missing in a lot of people these days. With your positive attitude you will accomplish much and see great things.

You may know this, but just in case (because you seem like the sort of person who would like this sort of thing) — your fortune cookie quote is actually from Grace Hopper, also known as Amazing Grace, who said a lot of clever things (more famously is “It is easier to get forgiveness than permission”). She was, remarkably, an admiral in the U.S. Navy — at a time when there were not a lot of women officers — and she was one of the world’s first computer programmers — often known as the mother of COBOL, a computer language. She is also responsible for our calling problems with our computers “bugs.” But remarkably important woman in the history of computers.

Thanks so much for the follow! I look forward to seeing more from you as well, as I decided to put on my follower robe. I assume it’s rather ceremonial looking with cat print and catnip sewn into the seams. Actually, that sounds like it would be dangerous garb in a ‘crazy cat lady’s’ home. Hmmm…
