Wanderlust: The Chinese & Their One-of-a-Kind Food

My latest travel post was about China, but who can post about China without mentioning its wonderfully crazy & delicious food? Here’s to fried scorpions, starfish, beetles (that taste like chocolate, but I promise are actually beetles…at least they were crunchy…), duck liver and more!

  1. Moony says:

The coconut drinks are actually not really exclusive to China–the water of young coconuts (like the ones in the picture) is actually a very popular drink in Southeast Asia because of its supposed cooling properties. I also see you must have tried Peking duck. The last time I went to China my classmates and I had Peking duck at one of the country’s most renown restaurants, and all the duck was polished off in less than half an hour!
