Summertime = S’mores. But S’mores + Rice Krispie Treats = heaven.
3 tbsp butter a pinch of salt 5 cups mini marshmallows 7 cups of broken up pieces of Graham crackers (or Graham cereal) 37 small Hershey's Kisses (37 because that's my favorite number, and also because it worked out just fine for me :) )
- Spray a 9″ x 13″ pan with cooking spray. Melt the butter and salt over medium heat in a pan, and then add 4 cups of the mini marshmallows until they are completely melted.
- Remove pan from heat and add in the Graham cracker pieces (or cereal) and stir. Add in the extra cup of mini marshmallows and stir.
- Quickly pour half the mixture into the prepared pan and top with around half of the Hershey Kisses. Pour the rest of the mixture onto the chocolate, press down and then top with the rest of the chocolate.
- Refrigerate for about an hour, and then remove from the pan to cut into pieces for you and friends to enjoy, with or without a campfire! 🙂
