Caramel and chocolate have always been my two favorite candies, and this caramel & chocolate cake may or may not be my favorite mug cake so far. It also makes a simple Mother’s Day dessert. (Time: ~3 minutes)
3 tbsp all-purpose flour 3 tbsp sugar 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder 1/4 teaspoon baking powder 1/4 teaspoon salt 1 egg - beaten 3 tbsp milk 1 tbsp vegetable oil 2 small (or large, depending on how 'caramel-y' you want it to be) pieces of caramels
1. Add flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder, salt, egg, milk, and vegetable oil into a bowl and mix until moist.
2. Pour into a mug, and add your caramel cubes into the center.
3. Microwave for one minute. If needed (read: too gooey), microwave in increments of 15 seconds.
